When people come into the library, they are sometimes hesitant to ask questions about library services or for help in starting their research assignments. When I was an undergrad, I too didn't ask for help. I struggled along, trying to figure out what my professor wanted me to do. Often, it would take me hours to do things on my own, whereas if I would have asked for help, I could have finished much sooner.
