Going Digital Native

I was doing some research for a project and found these _really, really_ interesting sources online. They are mostly focusing on how to teach millennials. Mark Prensky has this extremely interesting take on younger ppl and how they process information, how to teach them, and how older ppl can connect with them. He calls this digital natives and digital immigrants. I ended up at his site from another very relevant e-book from Educause--Educating the Net Generation.
I went off on a tangent while reading Prensky's stuff (simultaneously trying to update a subject guide) and was wondering how cool it would be to take our subject guides and link them up like wikipedia. or even just make a version for the instruction area with articles like wikipedia for ppl to browse and search. Encyclopedia Alkekia. :)Publish
